Always a pleasure shooting them, and I hope I get to do it again on Sunday!

This is what I look like on a good day! I’m trying to have another one tomorrow.
Hydra Melody opening for Third Eye Blind
I could make a long post about not being on tumblr and what is going on with me, but all you need to know is that from this day forward I am going to be a more proactive and less fear driven human being.
Starting to feel like my life would be better if I were anyone else but me.
I need more people to contribute to Speed of Sound Magazine! (x) If you are interested in getting a start at/ continuing to interview and/or photograph bands please email me at email@example.com with some info about yourself (where you live, show often you go to shows, etc.) and links to photos or interviews you’ve done.
You don’t have to be a pro-photographer or have a ton of experience you just have to have a passion for music and a drive to produce content you’re proud of.
I’m going to put this in a bunch of band tags so a bunch of people can see it. Do no hesitate to hit me up, I’m eager to finally put together a full team of people!
Reblogging because this is still relevant.
Speed of Sound Magazine’s 7th issue is out now!
I’m incredibly proud of this issue because Brooklyn just does an amazing job with every interview she does and photo she takes, I re-did the layout I’m still not done with all the tweaks I want to do but the issue looks better inside than all the others, and WILLIAM BECKETT IS ON THE COVER! I was a hug TAI fan in middle school and I idolized William Beckett in 8th and 9th grade. It’s incredible to have him on the cover of the my own publication and I’m so happy this is finally seeing the light of day.
Frank Ocean was shopping at my store today and everyone working was freaking out about him being there.
While leaving he refused to take a picture with my manager and she was really offended, honestly he had the right to say no, but that’s the point in asking for permission. You’re giving the artist the option to say no and being respectful of their personal space and privacy. Everyone was quick to say “If I were him I would have said yes!”, but they were putting themselves in the shoes of the fame he has not the human being is. If he said yes to one person the whole store would have erupted into a photo op and his low key experience of buying socks, shirts, and underwear as a normal human being would be tainted.
Musicians are people first entertainment second.
This has been a post.

Throwback Thursday: Underoath’s final show in St. Pete. It will always bum me out that I will never be as excited about seeing a band as I was every time I saw them. #underoath
